How it works...

Below is a run down on how the show is produced on your ship.

You supply the cast and venue.

We supply everything else.

One of our install directors will sign on for the two week install one month after your production cast signs on to start their contract. Our director will have already been in contact with the dance captain via email to go over casting and the rehearsal schedule.

The day the Director signs on, they will unpack the costumes to set them up in the dressing room for the fitting after the fun "Table Read" casting session with the cast. The DC and Director will cast seven of your show entertainers (dancers and singers) in the Mystery.

The first week, they will rehearse up to 90 minutes a day, in ether the actual restaurant or another available space.

When not rehearsing. the director will prep the costume and props, meet with the Maître d' and F&B, arrange promotion of the show with the M&R, and touch base with the stage staff to arrange the help of a tech to run sound for the show.

A short commercial will also be made using the cast pictures that can be shown on the guests' TVs to build interest  and excitement.

After a dress rehearsal in the second week, the show will open to begin its thrilling six month run.

The Evening

After a 20 minute Act One exposition in one of the ship's lounges, the guests will be escorted to the restaurant where the mystery will unfold in 15-minute sets between each course of their delectable dinner.  The director will go over the timing of each course with the Maître d' on opening night.  After the dessert is served, the cast will reveal the winning guest.

Close to the cast's sign off date, the Mystery Captain will inventory all the costumes and props to ready them for the new cast's arrival.

After the install a report will be sent to our ship contact covering the success of the install.

Performing in the Mystery adds something exciting for the cast when not in the production show. They have a blast with it.

Your ships may have had mysteries on board previously, but we assure you this is not like anything you’ve ever seen. Unlike charters that bring on their own performers to entertain their own pre-booked guests, this is your Mystery Masters program for you to present to your guests on your ships.

History

We have been producing Mysteries for ships for the last 20 years. Most recently on Royal Caribbeans ships. Our Directors, three in the US and two in Europe, have installed Mysteries on over 16 ships. This program is not running on any ship currently.

With your interest that will change.
